Welcome to the home of the Pleasant Valley Piranhas!
The Pleasant Valley Piranhas swim team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit summer team which swims as a part of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL). The Piranhas have proudly called the Pleasant Valley Recreation Association (PVRA) pool its home for more than 30 years. All PVRA members in good standing who hold a family membership and have children ages 4-18 are eligible and are encouraged to join our team.
The Piranhas are a summer developmental team swimming from Memorial Day through July. We focus on swim development, competition, forming foundations of good sportsmanship and developing a love for the sport of swimming. We offer a Junior Piranhas program for ages 4-8 and a formal swim team for children up to age 18. To learn more, check out the About Us tab.
